Jennifer “Finni” Arnold and Just “Boo” Emerson first crossed paths at Alfred University’s College of Ceramics, where they each earned their MFA in ceramics – and where they also fell in love. What began as simple sketches in a shared notebook quickly grew into a vision for collaborative sculpture, eventually bringing Boo&Finni to life. Last year, they opened their pottery studio in Jonesboro.
The Challenge
When we set out to create promotional videos for them, we knew we couldn’t just show pottery. We needed to share the heart behind it. The first video captured Jen and Emerson’s love story: how they met, why they create, and their hope of inspiring others in Jonesboro to explore art. Their vulnerability and authenticity gave the brand a powerful reintroduction, resonating with anyone who believes in the connection between love and creativity.
Our Approach
From there, we leaned into the playful side of their personality. The second video placed “miniature” versions of Boo and Finni directly inside the clay – a quirky, imaginative concept that contrasted beautifully with the intimacy of their first story. Together, the two pieces showcased the full spectrum of who they are: thoughtful, fun, and endlessly creative.
The Result
The result? Increased engagement, more class sign-ups, and a stronger awareness of their clay center. Most importantly, the videos reintroduced Boo&Finni not just as ceramicists, but as storytellers whose love and artistry are inseparable.
